For bare metal areas that require additional preparation, use Raptor Acid Etch Primer Aerosol 450ml Grey where suitable and follow its application instructions. For compatible plastic surfaces and difficult-to-sand areas, use Raptor Adhesion Promoter Aerosol 450ml Clear. Raptor Roll Bar & Chassis Paint is self-priming on most properly prepared metal, so an additional primer is not always necessary.

How to apply Raptor High Temp Roll Bar & Chassis 1K Aerosol

1. Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly, removing dirt, oil, grease, wax and loose coatings.
2. Sand bare metal with P180–P220 abrasive paper. For primed surfaces, use P400–P600; follow the product guidance for other substrates.
3. Wipe away sanding dust and ensure the surface is clean and dry.
4. Shake the aerosol for at least 2 minutes before use.
5. Apply 2–3 even coats from approximately 15–25cm away, allowing 5–10 minutes between coats.
6. Allow approximately 30 minutes to become touch dry at 20°C and leave to dry overnight before use.
7. After spraying, turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle. Always follow the product label and technical data sheet.
